A seventh-generation Charlestonian, Hart placed a happy childhood memory at the center of this coin: collecting moon snail (aka shark's eye) shells on Sullivan's Island. The nautilus shape is a symbol for regeneration and spiritual evolution. The back evokes balmy summer memories at dusk --  a crescent moon arches over a starry Lowcountry landscape with a palmetto, marsh and river.
